Compliance & Administration
– CGI has extensive experience assisting clients with their benefits and compensation matters, particularly with respect to issues arising under laws applicable to benefit and compensation programs, including COBRA, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), the Internal Revenue Code (the Code), HIPAA and various other laws. COBRA Administration – The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) mandates that any organization with 20 or more full or part-time employees offer a temporary continuation of group health and Section 125 benefits to employees (and covered dependents) upon experiencing a qualifying event. CGI will assist you in administering this benefit.

Summary Plan Description (SPD) Development – SPDs are employee benefit descriptions required by ERISA and are one of the most important benefit plans employees receive from their employer.  Our experts will ensure that your SPD is accurate, up to date and fully compliant with government regulations

5500 Forms – Groups of certain sizes or with particular benefits may be required to complete 5500 forms. CGI will assist in the completion of signature ready forms when needed.
